Caring for your piece
Fine jewellery asks for a little care. Worn thoughtfully and stored well, each Marosi Studio piece is made to last.
Everyday wear
Put your jewellery on last — after perfume, moisturiser, and hairspray. These products can dull the surface of gemstones and affect metal finishes over time. Remove your pieces before swimming, bathing, exercising, or sleeping.
Gemstones
Each stone we choose has its own character and its own needs. As a general rule, wipe gemstones gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners unless you know your stone is suitable — some gems, including opals, pearls, and certain treated stones, can be damaged by vibration or heat.
Metals
Gold and sterling silver can be cleaned with a soft cloth. For a deeper clean, use warm water with a small amount of mild dish soap and a soft brush, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive materials.
Storage
Store each piece separately to prevent scratching — ideally in the box or pouch it arrived in. Keep jewellery away from direct sunlight and humidity, which can affect both stones and metals over time.
Professional care
We recommend having your pieces professionally checked and cleaned once a year, particularly if they are worn regularly. If a piece needs attention sooner, contact us and we will advise you.
